“Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.”
Thought For the Day
As a Christ-follower, the number of lost people around us should be sobering and motivating. Ephesians 2:12 says we are “separated from Christ…having no hope and without God in the world.” What could be worse than this? The truth is that apart from a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus, there is no eternal hope. Do I have personal relationship with Jesus?
Meditation for the Day
JESUS, our LORD, came into this world to breakdown the dividing lines between Jews and Gentiles, to give hope to all peoples of the earth, and to draw us into a personal relationship with HIM. Today I have everlasting hope, no longer separated from the love and transformative power of GOD.
Prayer for the day
My LORD, I pray that I may be a witness for YOU. May my witness be evident in both my words and the way I live my life. As YOU allow the Holy Spirit to renew my mind with the Word of the FATHER, may my attitudes and behavior become more and more like YOURS, Christlike so I may be a powerful witness to a world without hope of YOUR power, YOUR love, and YOUR way of life, may I do YOUR will always. This I pray, in JESUS’ name. Amen.
