Ephesians 2:12
“Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.”
Thought For the Day
As a Christ-follower, the number of lost people around us should be sobering and motivating. Ephesians 2:12 says we are “separated from Christ…having no hope and without God in the world.” What could be worse than this? The truth is that apart from a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus, there is no eternal hope. Do I have personal relationship with Jesus?
Meditation for the Day
Jesus came into this world to take your punishment for sin and die the death that you deserve. By doing this, he satisfied the FATHER’s demand for justice and removed the guilt and condemnation of everyone who would believe in Jesus as Christ, Lord, and Savior.
Prayer for the day
My LORD, I pray that I may be a witness for YOU, shining like the star over the manager the night YOU were born. May my witness be evident in both my words and the way I live my life. As YOU allow the Holy Spirit to renew my mind with the Word of the FATHER, may my attitudes and behavior become more and more like YOURS, Christlike so I may be a powerful witness to a world without hope of YOUR power, YOUR love, and YOUR way of life, may I do YOUR will always.
