Thought For the Day
Have you ever envied a fellow believer’s unwavering faith and wondered how to attain such spiritual abundance? The key lies in total submission, mirroring Jesus’ example and yielding to God.
Yet, many believers struggle with surrender, clinging to control, a timeless human tendency evident since Adam and Eve. Fear also holds us back—fear of sacrifice, of criticism, and the ever-present battle with pride and selfishness.
Meditation for the Day
By relinquishing control to God, we open ourselves to a life of overflowing blessings (John 10:10). His love becomes our ultimate satisfaction, empowering us to serve others through the Holy Spirit. Obedience, in turn, brings both glory to God and blessings to us. Where am I being obedient, relinquishing control to God? If not, where am I not, and why?
Prayer for the day
Dear JESUS, help my to truly understand how surrender to the FATHER leads to abundance, fulfillment, and true freedom. Help me to humble yourself and surrender all to You. Help me to realize the potential gains which far outweigh any perceived losses. Amen.
