Scripture Reading

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” Galatians 2:21 NIV

Thought For the Day

The verse is a powerful reminder that our righteousness is not earned through our own works or merit. Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross is the cornerstone of our redemption, highlighting the futility of attempting to attain righteousness through legalistic endeavors. Our salvation is a divine gift freely given by God’s grace.

Meditation for the Day

The truth that our salvation is a divine gift freely given by God’s grace should humble us, fostering gratitude for the immeasurable love and mercy extended to us through Jesus’ atonement. It also encourages believers to resist the temptation of self-righteousness and legalism, emphasizing a reliance on God’s grace alone. As I navigate my Christian journey, am may I continually reflecting on Galatians 2:21, reaffirming my dependence on God’s grace and acknowledge the inadequacy of my efforts and embrace the richness of God’s unmerited favor?

Prayer for the day

As I navigate my Christian journey, heavenly FATHER, I ask that you fill me with the HOLY SPIRIT to continually reaffirm my dependence on YOUR grace. May I acknowledge the richness of YOUR unmerited favor and the love of our LORD, JESUS CHRIST. This I pray in JESUS’ name. Amen
